Partial Completion Policy

Purpose

This policy outlines the process and requirements for participants who complete portions of the CVR Level 1 ACC Program but do not fulfill all completion requirements.

Scope

This policy applies to participants who:

• Withdraw before program completion
• Are unable to complete all requirements within the program timeframe
• Do not meet performance standards for full completion
• Request documentation for partial participation

Partial Completion Certificate

Eligibility

Participants who complete at least 40 hours (50%) of the program may request a Partial Completion Certificate documenting the specific training received.

Certificate Contents

Partial completion documentation includes:

• Exact number of hours completed (broken down by synchronous/asynchronous)
• Specific modules or competencies covered
• Dates of participation
• Clear statement that full program requirements were not met
• Note that partial completion does not qualify for ICF Level 1 accreditation credit

Documentation Requirements

For Partial Completion Certificate

Participants must:

1. Submit written request to Program Director
2. Be current on all financial obligations
3. Return all program materials marked as CVR property
4. Complete exit interview (optional but encouraged)

Processing Timeline

• Requests processed within 15 business days of receipt
• Certificate issued via email and mail
• Digital records maintained for 7 years

Re-enrollment Options

Continuing the Program

Participants with partial completion may re-enroll under the following conditions:

Within 12 Months:

• Credit given for all completed hours and modules
• Pay only for remaining program components
• Must complete within 18 months of original enrollment date

After 12 Months:

• Case-by-case review required
• Credit may be given for completed modules if curriculum unchanged
• Subject to current program pricing
• May be required to repeat certain modules if significant updates have occurred

Re-enrollment Process

1. Contact Program Director to discuss status
2. Submit re-enrollment application
3. Review updated curriculum and requirements
4. Sign updated enrollment agreement
5. Complete payment arrangement for remaining components

Hours Credit for Other Programs

ICF Accredited Programs

Partial completion hours from CVR:

• May be accepted by other ICF accredited programs at their discretion
• Participant responsible for providing documentation
• CVR cannot guarantee acceptance by other programs
• Participants should verify transferability before enrolling elsewhere

CVR Advanced Programs

Partial completion of Level 1:

• Hours may count toward future CVR program requirements
• Subject to Program Director approval
• Must be relevant to advanced program content
• Maximum 50% of advanced program hours may come from partial completion credit

Academic Record Notation

Transcript Information

Partial completion is recorded as:

• “Partial Completion - [X] hours completed of 80-hour program”
• Modules completed listed individually
• No overall grade or competency rating assigned
• Reason for non-completion (if participant chooses to share)

Participant Rights

Participants with partial completion have the right to:

• Accurate documentation of hours and modules completed
• Fair consideration for re-enrollment
• Privacy regarding reasons for non-completion
• Access to academic records for 7 years

Appeals Process

If a participant disputes partial completion status or documentation:

1. Submit written appeal to Program Director within 30 days
2. Include specific concerns and supporting documentation
3. Receive written response within 15 business days
4. May escalate to [CVR Leadership/Board] if not resolved
